Meg sat in the shadows as her father stuffed his clothes into the well-worn duffle he used on long voyages. Her father hummed a tune that was neither happy nor sad, and she waited for him finish. Her patience was practiced. She did not appear eager for him to depart in any fashion, and her sullenness might have been mistaken for the kind of melancholy that normally accompanied such a departure. In fact, Meg had sat through many of these departures in the past, each time thinking Ch. I - The Leaving (Complete)

(National "Talk Like A Pirate Day")

Ahoy and clear seas to you. Never a more appropriate day than to start off a new venture than this one. Humble beginnings, truly--and we don't even have a ship or a crew yet! But we have a map, a log, and the days ahead to fill. And more to come, much more. Progress will me made in rapid time.

There's much to be done, but work is underway, and hope that you will enjoy what is yet to come, and look forward to it with much anticipation.
